Payback. Netsuke  (Autumn 2017)

A kneeling woman in a torn dress, her bruised and swollen face barely recognizable…… but also with a Katana sword resting peacefully and silently between her legs, after the violent rage had already taken place there and after she paid him back, why now his decapitated head is dangling by his hair over her shoulder, like a frozen moment in time that she tries to cherish forever.

Material: Old Asian bi-colored hardwood.

Marked with a Monogram of T and H in golden Urushi lacquer.

Measurements: 1.97 x 0.93 x 0.83 inch ( 5 x 2,35 x 2,1 cm.)
