The enchanted Prince. Netsuke. (Summer 2017)
A crowned frog (or rather a Toad) seated on a “Lotus-Throne”, inside a real Lotus flower.
Based on old fairy tales and well known in the written version by the Grimm Brothers.
Materials: Lotus Flower made of Cherry-wood, the enchanted Prince made of dark Asian hardwood, the crown made of Gambian brass.
Marked with a Monogram of T and H in golden Urushi lacquer.
Measurements: 1.77 x 1.5 x 1.34 inch ( 4,5 x 3,8 x 3,4 cm.) Measurements Toad: 0.55 x 0.91 x 0.71 inch ( 1,4 x 2,3 x 1,8 cm.)
