Octopus Netsuke. Safe Shelter or Big Catch? (Autumn 2016)
Depending on the interpretation of the viewer this octopus provides a safe shelter for other marine life, or it has just made a big catch.
Materials: Asian hardwood, bi-colored eyes made of bone and Himalayan Yak horn, fish and seahorse made of Deer antler with Himalayan Yak horn, eel-like fish of Asian hardwood and Deer antler eyes.
Marked with a Monogram of T and H in golden Urushi lacquer.
Measurements: 2.95 x 0.83 x 0.67 inch (7,5 x 2,1 x 1,7 cm.)
